
This is Dr Saussan, she is a physiotherapist that has dedicated the last years in time and study for the sake of the boys with hemophilia in Jordan. She works a lot with a prevention look, teaching her young patients how to practise the right exercices and how to detect early a internal bleeding. I met her the first time in May in the World Hemophilia Congress in Istanbul. This picture was taken in August in the summer camp for adults with bleeding disorders in Jordan.
Esta é a Dra Saussan, que é fisioterapeuta do Hospital Militar de Jordania. Ela participa ativamente no trabalho educativo e terapeutico dos pacientes com hemofilia. Participou dos treinamentos oferecidos pela Federação Mundial de hemofilia e, seu enfoque é sobre Prevenção. Ou seja cómo preparar os meninos desde uma idade bem jovem de gostar dos excercícios fisioterápicos e praticá-los com regularidade. Ela é muito legal!

This is Omar, he is 12 years old and his mom Asia who is an active member of the hemophilia Society of Jordan. She is graduated in psychosocial area. She is very much loved by all !
Este rapazinho é Omar, tem 12 anos e acho , se lembro direitinho, tem hemofilia B grave. Ele pratica natação, é muito bom aluno e gosta de participar dos acantonamentos que são realizados anualmente em Amman. Sua mãe, Asia, é a presidente da Associação dos portadores de Hemofilia de Amman. É formada em ciencias sociais. Gente dedicada e muito boa no que faz para apoioar as famílias com hemofilia. Um exemplo a ser seguido.

2) HERO (Hemophilia Experiences Results and Opportunities) sponsored by Novo Nordisk since 2009-2014 Done !exploring through qualitative and quantitative analysis the psychosocial issues involving People with hemophilia, their carers and the health professionals in the treatment process.
2) P-TET (Pediatric Thrombosis Educational Tool) , for kids on anti-coagulant treatment...inspired on IN-HEMOACTION flashcards success.
3) I am a co-author along with psychologist Irene Fuchs and Edward Kuebler of a booklet called "Communication, love and sexuality for people with hemophilia, carriers and family"
4) Done: systematic review for the Cochrane Collaboration :"psychological interventions for people with hemophilia and their families"
5) Actually I counsel people who wants to perform as competition level athlete and collaborate with them seeking wellness and goals
On a more personal level I have 3 three great not anymore children :) Danaê 35, Rubi 29 and Iggy 27 and i am since 2019 a pole sport athlete at a national and international level. I love it! also To walk and look for shells on a beach and discovering deserts...:)
