
Play ball? A socker ball is for sure the present number 1 in our country…so we have to deal with that national passion:
Usually, soccer games or other contact sports are not recommended, as there are many chances of falls, hits and injuries! But this may change if you are in a prophylaxis program, with the authorization of your Hemophilia Service and followed by a specialized professional.
But remember: to play, you must always be wearing tennis shoes and be in a plain terrain(such as grass or sand.) Play one-to-one with a good friend, or your dad… And don´t hit the ball with your head, the impacts can provoque an internal bleeding.

Uma bola de futebol é o presente número 1 para qualquer garoto na casa de um Brasileiro… é uma paixão nacional:
geralmente, o futebol não é recomendado como esporte a ser praticado. É um esporte de contato onde existem muitas chances de ser atingido por um golpe (a maldita Falta) além da intensidade e impacto da corrida sobre as articulações.
Agora podemos dizer que o bom senso é interessante: brincar com um amigo, com um adulto a passar a bola, a correr num chão macio e uniforme (grama, areia) é legal para a criança com hemofilia.
Nunca bater com a cabeça (cabeçadas podem provocar sangramentos intracraneanos).
Se a criança estiver num programa de profilaxia (uso de fator 2 ou 3 vezes por semana) e sob a supervisão e orientação do seu centro de hemofilia, as chances de ter machucados sérios diminuem muito.

2) HERO (Hemophilia Experiences Results and Opportunities) sponsored by Novo Nordisk since 2009-2014 Done !exploring through qualitative and quantitative analysis the psychosocial issues involving People with hemophilia, their carers and the health professionals in the treatment process.
2) P-TET (Pediatric Thrombosis Educational Tool) , for kids on anti-coagulant treatment...inspired on IN-HEMOACTION flashcards success.
3) I am a co-author along with psychologist Irene Fuchs and Edward Kuebler of a booklet called "Communication, love and sexuality for people with hemophilia, carriers and family"
4) Done: systematic review for the Cochrane Collaboration :"psychological interventions for people with hemophilia and their families"
5) Actually I counsel people who wants to perform as competition level athlete and collaborate with them seeking wellness and goals
On a more personal level I have 3 three great not anymore children :) Danaê 35, Rubi 29 and Iggy 27 and i am since 2019 a pole sport athlete at a national and international level. I love it! also To walk and look for shells on a beach and discovering deserts...:)
