Last month I started a play therapy for Felipe and counseling session for Vanda his young mother. She is 28 and has 4 children 🙂 an older daughter which is 11, twin girls 3 and Felipe who is 4 and a half. Felipe is part of our multidisciplinary team as he has hemophilia A. He started his prophylaxis program and is getting familiar with the treatment…with his hemophilia. O mês passado começamos uma vez por semana um trabalho com Vanda e seu filho Felipe…mãe muito jovem e de 4! Felipe está dentro da nossa equipe de atendimento multidisciplinar; ele tem hemofilia A grave e está em profilaxia. Ele já esta participando da infusão do fator e ajuda a tirar a agulha ja!!! a preocupação da mãe é que o filho apronta e não conversa, não fala muito. Será que as meninas roubam a cena em casa falando tudo por ele?? al final ele tem 3 irmãs!! 🙂 e será que é justamente a fase dele de auto-afirmação…recusando, desejando isto e não aquilo…será que esto não é um sinal que todos na familia poderiam aprender a se comunicar melhor?
we play a lot…and one of his mother complaints is that he doesn’t talk….and strong head ( maybe the girls do all the talking at home ? -kidding!! and maybe …it is typical of its own development stage to be saying a lots of NO to his mother? ) 
So we started to work together first i discovered that he was paying attention to my old laptop and ask him to help me in writing “the news” (i call that the stuff i register) and his eyes went wide open…(big BLUE eyes)…we went through drawing, playing Hemoaction memory game (he is good at it)…
Vamos desenhar então, vamos entender e achar um canal de comunicação . ACHEI!!!! ele gosta de escrever comigo e me ajudar a anotar no laptop as “noticias” da sessao e ele ama Memoria com Hemoação e…desenhar! OTIMO 🙂

2) HERO (Hemophilia Experiences Results and Opportunities) sponsored by Novo Nordisk since 2009-2014 Done !exploring through qualitative and quantitative analysis the psychosocial issues involving People with hemophilia, their carers and the health professionals in the treatment process.
2) P-TET (Pediatric Thrombosis Educational Tool) , for kids on anti-coagulant treatment...inspired on IN-HEMOACTION flashcards success.
3) I am a co-author along with psychologist Irene Fuchs and Edward Kuebler of a booklet called "Communication, love and sexuality for people with hemophilia, carriers and family"
4) Done: systematic review for the Cochrane Collaboration :"psychological interventions for people with hemophilia and their families"
5) Actually I counsel people who wants to perform as competition level athlete and collaborate with them seeking wellness and goals
On a more personal level I have 3 three great not anymore children :) Danaê 35, Rubi 29 and Iggy 27 and i am since 2019 a pole sport athlete at a national and international level. I love it! also To walk and look for shells on a beach and discovering deserts...:)
