João Vitor is 6 years old and his mom Edvania gives him his dosis of factor once a week. He started prophylaxis 3 years ago and everything is fine. This doesn’t mean that Yoshi his dinossaur won’t get it like him!! LOL Little boys love to role play and imagine situation where they feel active and helping others…

João Vitor faz profilaxia uma vez por semana …sua mãe Edvania aplica sem problemas…ao contrário Joao também segue os passos da mãe e aplica também para Yoshi su dinossaura querido !:) Fazer de conta ajuda a criança a lidar com diversas situações diferentes, ele se sente ativo e num tipo de controle produtivo ao seu desenvolvimento. Que bom que se consiga viver assim, cuidando de si e brincando.

1) Launching IN-HEMOACTION flash cards, 2026 updated version where I added new topics like Inhibitors and novel treatments, physiotherapy and a some playful activities like video games!
2) HERO (Hemophilia Experiences Results and Opportunities) sponsored by Novo Nordisk since 2009-2014 Done !exploring through qualitative and quantitative analysis the psychosocial issues involving People with hemophilia, their carers and the health professionals in the treatment process.
2) P-TET (Pediatric Thrombosis Educational Tool) , for kids on anti-coagulant treatment...inspired on IN-HEMOACTION flashcards success.
3) I am a co-author along with psychologist Irene Fuchs and Edward Kuebler of a booklet called "Communication, love and sexuality for people with hemophilia, carriers and family"
4) Done: systematic review for the Cochrane Collaboration :"psychological interventions for people with hemophilia and their families"
5) Actually I counsel people who wants to perform as competition level athlete and collaborate with them seeking wellness and goals
On a more personal level I have 3 three great not anymore children :) Danaê 35, Rubi 29 and Iggy 27 and i am since 2019 a pole sport athlete at a national and international level. I love it! also To walk and look for shells on a beach and discovering deserts...:)
