A like ADMIRATION : ” feeling of respect, warm approval or pleasure for somebody or something done…”

We watch and enjoy the admirable records of so many athletes, creative businessmen or other admirable performances… i can imagine the hours, days, months and years of hard work and dedication to get to results.

I admire that endurance…and I always think and what about us? simple “mortals” 🙂 ? well I am the kind of person who admires  “little” efforts,  the anonymous people who keep our city clean at dawn, my daughter’s (Rubi) efforts to not leave her things always on the floor :), I admire my colleagues at work who have patience and kindness, I admire when a boy  facing  his vein and telling  himself that he is going to be autonomous and infuse his factor.

Olimpíadas!!!! fico pensando o quanto os atletas aprendem durante anos de treino a se CONHECER!! conhecer

até onde chega, seus limites e sempre tentar superá-los, seus potenciais e sempre : desenvolvê-los.

Eles vão , muitas vezes, longe demais…mas é belo ver e admirar o esforço e torcer.

Digo para os JOVENS COM HEMOFILIA do Brasil: ainda não temos a profilaxia em todos os estados para fornecer e elevar o fator 8 ou 9 no seu sangue e assim poder praticar atividades mais puxadas , esportivas e não sangrar. AINDA não! MAS O QUÉ é que têm???? vocês têm vocês mesmos, seu corpo para cuidar, amar e conhecer. Você tem seus mêdos para vencer, sua desconfiança de um futuro melhor para encarar!

Você conhece sua hemofilia? sabe se ela é grave, moderada ou leve? sabe o que isso significa de fato? sabe explicar e falar da hemofilia de uma maneira simples, sem dúvidas??

sabe fazer os exercícios de fisioterapia direito? é dedicado, cuidadoso? sabe que não deve brigar, bater nos outros. Aprender a negociar, prevenir brigas idiotas?

ENTÃO SE SABE RESPONDER A TODAS ESSAS PREGUNTAS…PARABéNS!: medalha de ouro para seu auto-conhecimento de ótimo nível 🙂

LATEST PROJECTS: 1) Launching IN-HEMOACTION flash cards, 2026 updated version where I added new topics like Inhibitors and novel treatments, physiotherapy and a some playful activities like video games! 2) HERO (Hemophilia Experiences Results and Opportunities) sponsored by Novo Nordisk since 2009-2014 Done !exploring through qualitative and quantitative analysis the psychosocial issues involving People with hemophilia, their carers and the health professionals in the treatment process. 2) P-TET (Pediatric Thrombosis Educational Tool) , for kids on anti-coagulant treatment...inspired on IN-HEMOACTION flashcards success. 3) I am a co-author along with psychologist Irene Fuchs and Edward Kuebler of a booklet called "Communication, love and sexuality for people with hemophilia, carriers and family" 4) Done: systematic review for the Cochrane Collaboration :"psychological interventions for people with hemophilia and their families" 5) Actually I counsel people who wants to perform as competition level athlete and collaborate with them seeking wellness and goals On a more personal level I have 3 three great not anymore children :) Danaê 35, Rubi 29 and Iggy 27 and i am since 2019 a pole sport athlete at a national and international level. I love it! also To walk and look for shells on a beach and discovering deserts...:)
