Is bleeding , or getting hurt physically always a bad thing? Do you remember a movie where “bleeding” was worthed, a scene that you felt good about it ? try to remember…
For me, the bloody scene that I loved was in “300” when the young teenager (13?) is doing his initiation and has to face alone the big wolf and kill him or be killed!
The scene of the battle when he gets hurt by the beast… and when at last they are face to face, almost embracing each other in a bath of blood that touched me . The Spartian is borned.
—————-–What about our boys with hemophilia? many kids and teens have told me , that sometimes having a bleeding was worthed because they had to protect a sibling or prove something to themselves in a specific situation, or they had so much fun walking or dancing too much, that they knew something would show up the next day…it is something to think about, we, parents and care givers.
