One must do what he/she feels that it is the “good, nurturing thing” for the soul… and what’s the Soul anyway? soul is the “thing in us ” that make us ask what is soul, what make sense, touches us,  what we really need,…..the deep stuff…the ones that catch you before your mind tries to rationalize and reduce it to a mere blabla.

Soul is a food. It is food for the spirit. It feeds the spirit like factor feeds the bleed. It joins with other souls like factor joins with other factors to mend, heal, synergize, and provide for moving forward to the betterment of all involved. Someone said that religious faith is a relationship with God. Is soul the essesence of that relationsip?

    • J C,
Soul is food , i liked that, a special food that makes you feel alive , not only because your heart beats and your brain sort of function :), a food that strikes your “entranhas” your gutts, and make you look for more meaning in life….
and Each factor helps the net of fibrin to be borned….we , friends and Pwh are factors of union for that net be efficient! I don’t have a straight answer to your question..but i hope you got my experience of soul.

And some scientists are now saying that it seems that the heart has a kind of brain of its own. In my poem, about my wife dumping me, in which I said, “My heart aches and my stomach growls; Sometimes my crying turns into howls”; maybe I should have included something about my soul. I wonder just how prevalent divorce is, of parents of a pwh.

    J C,
Divorce hurts even when one wants it.you weren’t dumped, both of you are taking perhaps different paths.
Your poem is beautiful, I write too when I “bleed”, it helps me a lot.
And your words are Soul ly 😉
I separated once..life continues and it can continue well!
Children musn’t lose their parents, their presence even if they are divorced. “Ex-dad or Ex-mom” don’t exist.
