OMIT : ” fail or neglect to do something; leave something not done, not include….”

A lot of boys hide their bruises or omit to inform their parents when they have a bleeding! why? most of them tell me that they are afraid of their parents’ reactions that vary from irritation, annoyance, nervousism, sadness and anxiety.

Until the age of 5 (more or less) the boy isn’t responsible for falling or use wrongly an object so if he gets hurt it is a good moment to explain things calmly…and reassure him that he will receive the proper medication right away.

And asking What for do you omit ? is an interesting question.

You ‘ll be surprised to hear that most kids don’t tell because they feel they bother their parents who are working hard, are tired, with no extra money to get to the hospital….

Kids have a big range of feelings, thoughts that WE adults have to discover and understand. 🙂
